It was off and on but they appear to be moving the reconfigured planes back to NY. My early June flight from lax has the old product (you can check by trying to book the flight on ANA’s site).

Noooo. Second change on my August flights, and the new plane is gone.

While the article is mainly about the plane that brought the Olympic flag to Tokyo is being sent to the desert. There is a note at the end that there are plans to refurbish a total of 6 77W to the new configuration. And 3 are already completed. So there should be 9 planes around now.

I remember seeing rumors of JA785A getting the refurb earlier this year but wasn't sure as I couldn't find any positive confirmation. I also heard something about NH beginning to do refurbishment in house but again, not sure about this.

Thought it was interesting that my hnd-jfk flight yesterday had the inop stickers over the hdmi. Hadn’t had those my last few flights. Port worked fine once sticker was removed.

Lol just a ping test keeping an eye on the horrible latency (well really just watching for when it dies completely for minutes at a time)

Looks like the new seat map (Suite/Room) has been loaded to LAX-HND starting March 27, 2022.

NH105/106.

NH105/106.
For LAX-HND, is it better to do NH125 for full service or NH105 for the "Suite", but as a redeye flight? Thanks

I wonder if this is another temporary assignment on the LAX route or will 777s equipped with new seating be a permanent fixture on 105/106?

IMHO if you're in first, you'd want to go with full service over the "Suite". But, in business, the "Room" may be the better choice.

Flying on NH6 (NRT-LAX) in mid August, looks like they’re switching back to the old Staggered config - does anyone think there’s a chance this changes back to the new frames? Fingers crossed here.

Interesting conundrum. I guess it depends on what you value more.

If you value the novelty of it, and if you've flown The Square before, I'd say NH105 will add to the experience/enjoyment regardless.

If you want the best sleep, NH105.

If you want to be properly fed and pampered, NH125 might be better - tho' I would argue, then, that why not position to JFK then do NH109 to extract a few more hours out of the Suite experience?

Hey folks, I lucked out and switched to a flight that DOES have the Room - lucky me!

Rows 5/6 are taken. Which are your favorite seats for solo travelers?
