Annnnnnd then there's this. As the previous Boeing only crews are becoming more familiar with the Airbus they are learning these things. There's a learning curve. There have been bulletins with respect to resetting the seats - and there is information in the manual. The problem is, if they're walking onto a brand new plane and the first thing they're concerned with is locating the emergency equipment. The seats they seem to learn as they encounter a broken seat. Thank you for taking a minute to share your info with a crew that maybe hasn't had to reset a seat to that point. Once learned, however they learn it, they're not likely to forget it.

Route: SEA-OAK
Flight Number: 342
Departure time: 5:30am
Menu: No
Breakfast: Was given choice of breakfast sandwich or Yogurt with fruit. I went with the sandwich and it was pretty good. Fruit on the plate was bit lacking. PDB of coffee or OJ only. Service was ok, wasn't checked in on too often though.

AS 2066 PDX - DAL on 7/25

Choice between hot turkey sandwich or salad with chicken. Was happy to hear they didn’t ruin the sandwich by adding mustard to it, so went with that option and very much enjoyed it. Snack basket was brought out later in the flight

Above. SEA/LAX. Lunch First Class offerings. August 2.
Choice of: Salad of greens, cherry tomatoes and sliced cucumbers. Topped with quinoa and grilled chicken slices. Feta cheese crumbles and half strawberry . Balsamic vinegrette on side with warm multigrain roll and butter.
or
Warm turkey, bacon and cheese sandwich on chibatta roll. Bag of chips on side.

Really enjoyed the salad choice. Much better than the protein plate of late. Partner had sandwich and commented on improvement of using this roll vs the previous Hawaiian style bun on this type of sandwich.
FA description of choice was hot turkey sandwich or chicken salad. (Could have been a little more descriptive)
Catering for F was 6/10. Six being the salad and 10 sandwich. 737-900 so had F had 16

AS 1627 LAS - PDX on 8/5

Choice of protein plate or hot chicken and mozzarella sandwich with chips. Went with the protein plate and thought it was better than some of the previous iterations I’ve tried. The turkey and the pepper jack cheese were both flavorful and I enjoyed the fresh fruit and the flavored hummus. The only piece that was a bit of a miss was the hardboiled eggs; they were kind of tasteless. It’s always challenging to serve pre-peeled hardboiled eggs though.

Only one slice of cheese on that plate...that's a downgrade. On the protein plates I've had before, there's been at least 1 small wedge of brie + 2 slices of Beecher's.

That's what that "spice up your flight" packet is for!

You will be able to pre-order for both flights 14 days in advance. It will be a full meal, lunch for the 12:00pm departure and dinner for the 7:30pm.

Yes, I was really asking what meal options to expect, and whether folks enjoyed their selection (to help inform my decision). Cheers!

Had this last week on SANSTL; it wasn't terrible but it was a bit odd consistency wise with respect to the turkey. And not sure why they put lettuce on it and then heat it up....all it did was make it wilted and somewhat gross so ended up taking the lettuce off.

Flying AS 26 SEA-ORD later this month. 5:30 PM departure. Any ideas on what will be on the menu? Mid-con dinner flight.
