Excellent service from purser Kurt and flight attendant Kyle. Really top-notch; very detail-oriented with a lot of personal interaction.

A new breakfast for me; breakfast sandwich served on a cheese bagel. It was delicious, with a fried egg (with yolk/white, not scrambled), ham and a sauteed onion sort of condiment. Plus pineapple, strawberry and blackberry. I enjoyed a couple of mimosas. Other choice was fruit/yogurt/granola. Strawberry (something pink anyway) smoothie shot served before the breakfast tray. Very nice flight!

Actual Offering: Snack Basket. F/A allowed one item, but basket was passed twice for a total of two items per passenger.

Didn’t they used to actually offer a true snack in these post-dinner evening departures?

One item, seriously? They usually let me take 2-3 items. And, yes, this flight has had a sandwich or salad in the past.

Menu

Greek Yogurt Appetizer with a cinnamon raisin ciabatta roll, granola, and a delicious peach & blueberry compote -tart, not too sweet

Heirloom Tomato Shakshuka: Poached egg on a stew of tomatoes & bell peppers, with sauteed Swiss chard, chicken chorizo sausage and diced avocado -all good; I preordered this entree using the Alaska Airlines app...

Note that egg is hard poached, not runny...

Fruit & Cheese Plate -the guy next to me didn't like the description of the other entrees on the menu; preordered using the Alaska Airlines app...

A few hours later the FA came around with a basket of snacks -including bananas, PopCorners (love these -Google it), dried fruit & nuts mix, sea salt chocolate bars (too salty for my taste), KIND vanilla-blueberry health bars, etc

LAX/SEA AS1707
July11
lunch
no PDB
Chicken mozzarella sandwich or protein plate
catered 5/3 for 8 passenger F cabin

We both had sandwich (pictured above #467 )
Very disappointing. crumbly chicken , sandwich was warm and very dry. Bun is Hawaiian style bread. Overall, flavor was off. We really miss the warm roast beef and/or turkey sandwiches from spring menu.
Service was fine.
Even better, seats were fully operable, appeared almost new and IFE worked well. . 321Neo in very good condition.

SEA-ANC. 8am departure
offered coffee as PDB
Options were frittata with spinach and sun dried tomatoes or oatmeal with fruit

i selected the frittata but was disappointed that mine didn’t have any sun dried tomatoes. My neighbor’s did.

Everyone was offered the smoothie shot.

Took about an hour after takeoff before first drink service which was a little disappointing. I was very surprised that a snack basket was offered about an hour before landing

Glad to do it. Will include this in posts from now on.
I always ask how meals are catered when we fly. We are usually in Row 2 on Airbus metal and Row 3 on AS. If catering is off, I then politely request our preference before take off. They do seem to be catering more of the “hot” choices lately.

PDB - small bottle of water at seat

Chicken mozzarella sandwich or protein plate. I chose the sandwich which was OK but no more. Needed a knife and fork to eat as the bun fell apart.
