Given that airport fees and taxes are gonna start at around $15 each way.... $10 base fares for transcon one-ways? That sounds a little too good to be true but.... I'd love to learn something and be proven wrong.

Is this through fare rule mistakes or something where they will sell you a SFO-LAX flight that routes through JFK (or something like that)?

Highly debatable. Assuming I’m getting out of the airport on that mileage run, I’ll take New York over Hawaii every time.
