The new format is kinda weird. I think it was better to bold the planes repainted. Maybe to distinguish it, put (AS Livery) beside the name? Or keep it the way it was, and then italicize the planes that have been reconfigured? Just my thought.

For the whole, what, two weeks that the last two aircraft are spending in the paint shop?

I updated the Wiki. I think we don't need to place the configuration beside the reconfigured plane, its listed above the table. I think the simple bolding of the aircraft is sufficient and simple to track the reconfiguration. We can say that all have been repainted with the two exceptions, but i think we can just note that beside the two aircraft. I think it looks simple above. Thoughts?

Is there a way, in advance, to insure flight booked is “old” Airbus configuration.
Going by seat maps does not seem to assure this.
checked our flights yesterday and still showed 2 rows of F.
checking in today, and now showing 3 rows of F.
I guess it had to happen eventually. Will miss old VX seats.

The one upside is that because AS has stopped repairing VX seats, getting swapped to a new config means you have a higher likelihood of a working recliner and leather that doesn’t look like it spent 10 years in a frat house.

You never know. I'm sure someone in the insurance biz is willing to issue a policy that gives pcoll money if they wind up on a reconfig'd A320. Probably not worth the cost, but I'm sure it's an option.

Interesting that they are still given N numbers ending in VA. I suppose it is just for continuity with the rest of the 321Neo fleet?[/left]

I know, it’s strange. I brought that up earlier, but they’re still going to be taking the A321neos in VA registrations. However, if they decide to go through with the A320neos, I guarentee those will have AS/AK registrations. As of right now, we still don’t know whether or not they’re going to keep the order for those jets.

As it stands now, both N929VA (D-AZAX) and N930VA (D-AVXO) are assembled. As far as their delivery dates, who knows. 929 was supposed to be in service at the end of Q1, but that never happened. 930 was for Q2. Maybe we could expect both to enter service at similar times at the end of June? I don’t know. Can anyone who knows better confirm when we can expect the last to 321neos to enter service?
