I wish these would be flown with customers! At least as a way to show that the region could support a lower cost way to get to the NW/PAC region. This seems like a waste for AS to rotate aircraft through GSO, yet fly from RDU (which I get has tech traffic), but why not find a way to get GSO traffic at some price to operate these flights since they have so many rotating through.

It’s looking like AS will get two Airbus back this weekend.
843 - MX already reconfigured 320
528 - MX heavy check.
assuming nothing else is found causing a reversion back to GSO.
the 319s are in the AS schedule for quite a while. If they arent going to reconfig them, it would be nice for a official position so those VX loyalists can have that product until they go to AA. . (I am one of those VX fan boys - but I will admit I’m loving AS since the merger).

The A321s, all now reconfigured or delivered with the new interior (928-930), have been cycling through GSO for maintenance visits. 928 heads back to GSO again today after being there from 1/15-1/20. Can anyone in the know shed some light on this? Putzy?

Was thinking the same. However, AS friend tells me reducing spending to stay liquid is the #1 focus, so seems like mods may actually slow, not increase.
Be safe everyone and we will get through this OK.....take care of each other!

This was the plan pre-C19 - so we will see what happens in the coming months. I think i found a tidbit of info through the Alaska website. (im bored with not flying and been SIP orders for 10 days now in SF)
But 8 of 10 319s are going to be retro-fitted. (not sure if these are going to AA now)
All the sharklet 320s will get retrofitted - N621VA will not get retrofits; N641VA will eventually get it done
Again - this was before our current crisis. Lets take care of each other!

COVID related Airbus storage
As of 4/1
All 319s are in storage at GSO
Only 22/51 of 320s are still active (all etops are stored)
All 321neos are active (one is in GSO i assume for maintenance)
