not posted yet, but this past Fri (9 Nov) DCA-PDX-SEA should put me at 75637
Mrs767 made MVP after last month’s trip (SEA-LAX-LIM / LIM--UIO / GYE-LIM-LAX-SEA), so I’ll probably gift our son MVP status

My Partner flights on FJ from LAX-NAN-SYD on November 2nd & 4th and on AA PHX-MEX-PHX on November 8th-12th all posted this morning to push me over from 88,806 AS + Partner to 99,850. 75K locked in for another year and I still have more flights booked.
It was a slow start this year for EQM having travelled over 50K miles RTW through 5 continents for 2 months starting Jan 1st all in F & J on awards. I didn't requalify for MVP until early August with a trip to Maui. Quickly passed into MVPG with a Mileage Run in September and finished off some repositioning flights the first week of November.

Re-qualified for MVPG about 80 miles out from SEA on the way from MSY last night.
And in honor of how well this perhaps irrational pursuit of "status" has worked on me, here's a 2016 conversation between John Hodgman and Adam Davidson about the creation and proliferation of frequent flyer programs.

Requalified on AS135 Sunday night on AS + partner miles (still have not posted). Will requalify on pure AS miles after my ANC-SEA-ANC flights in early December.

Sitting just under 50K AS EQM since August and will probably end the year there. Might have an outside shot at 75K next year but MVPG has been pretty good to me. Maybe one of these years AS will get around to buying HA and then it will be easy.

After nine consecutive years of MVP Gold 75K status, I just attained MVP status for next year. So far, that's the only downside to being retired!

I'm going to barely earn MVP (first status earned on any airline!) on my last flight of the year, PIT-SEA on 12/31. I'm sure I won't get much out of it being based in SEA, I'm still a sucker for being called 'elite' though! Although, being 'elite' from purely personal flights doesn't feel as good...
Also, my main route is SEA-FAT, so maybe a route that I'm slightly more likely to get a little more value from MVP on?

Qualified for MVPG once more in early October via partner miles (was boosted by a ridiculous~$3500 coach fare on BA SEA-LHR work trip I took in April) and via AS metal later in that same month.
Anyone think there's any sort of elite thank you gift coming this year?
