These were just two awesome flights in terms of views out the windows.

On 147, the mountains and snow had some pax saying "wow", plus the side amusement that was window-seat pax became photographers for some of those in aisle seats.

On 150, most were sleeping, but I felt like I was in a painting. So worth it to have been awake for the sunrise.

Yes. I'd assumed that was a prerequisite for posting in this thread. The first four are taken while flying over Alaska. The last one was taken on an evening flight from LAX up to SEA.

Thanks.
Fantastic colors and sharp detail.

BTW, I started the thread as those were my first 2 AS flights and I consider myself lucky to have seen and captured those images I posted (among others).

A few years ago I was driving back from an Alaska DO visit to Seward where we did the 26 Glacier Cruise. Monitor and Frantic were in the back seat of my car as we headed through the passes near Hope back to Anchorage. Monitor spoke up and said "You know, I have traveled throughout Alaska many times and could never describe the beauty and majesty of this country....until now". I was driving and looked at him in the rear view mirror and said "I have lived here over 50 years and still cannot adequately describe the place. What do you have in mind?"

His very simple answer, and the only two words needed to describe Alaska is "SCENIC OVERLOAD". ^^^

I just smiled and said "Thank You"

always good to be getting back home ... in the photo, my house is about halfway up and 20% of the way in from the left edge

This appears to be a view from below the wing which is explicitly prohibited by the thread title
