It's even worse, that was the sunset!

No, it was just prior to sunrise. I should know. I was there. I took the picture. Just a couple of weeks ago.

I was flying AS 167 ANC-FAI a couple nights ago - 11:00pm departure. It was a nice night so I took a window seat. Good choice I think, although I recognize most of you guys seem to like photos that include the wing or winglet. Sorry about that. This was the best I could do from up in First Class. I will try not to submit any more photos unless I am in Coach. I took this photo on descent into Fairbanks at about 11:35pm. Hope it is acceptable. Please alert moderator to remove it if it is not.

So reported.

After cruising on AS47 ANC-ADQOn approach into ADQ

It did clear up by the afternoon.

Boarding AS40 ADQ-ANC

I was in F on AS40 this afternoon ADQ-ANC so no window shots from that flight (aisle seat, so wasn't practical either )

7/30 AS107 SEA-ANC - Just about perfect flying weather other than a little fog in the SE. Still able to see KTN and SIT on the way.

heavy rain -- and some occasional lightning flashes -- at LAX on 31 Jan meant AS2145 (and a few other flights) took a ~15-min ground hold before departing on Runway 6R

Transavia 738 sporting "Sun Country Airlines" decals over the windows

N625QX taking the runway

a very rare view of LAX
