also got the 50% bonus. curious to see if anyone got "even more".
Also, my points balance got quite low (sub 100k) recently, so maybe that's why I got targeted for the higher offer.
Also, it seems that one can use a high offer received from one account to buy points for any other account, irrespective of their points offer.
Does anyone know if one can buy as many miles as one wants through this offer? Like using it 2/3 times without penalty/investigation?

PDX based MVP, husband no status, we both got the 50%. Low balance (less than 100K) right now and we have bought miles a few times. After fee, cost is 1.97 cents, so $ 1970 for Cathay business RT to Asia or OW on Emirates First to Asia. Approaching the price of a coach ticket.

I appears that once you have purchased, you then have the option to purchase for a friend. For those you who get the 50% offer may find that you have some new friends

My account with mainly SPG transfer and BOA Visa earnings show 40%. My sister's account that's been dormant for the last couple years also showing 40%. If I had 50% I would have bit.
Interesting physiology experiment here for Alaska/Points.com. I'm certain they know virtually no one is going to buy at 35%, and only a few is going to buy at 40%.
I guess their intention is the 35-40% is a bone thrown to the people not lucky enough to get the 50% bonus but I think it does more harm than good.
Meh, I'll pass. I already loaded up on the lifemiles bononza last month so I have 250k miles to burn there.
