Shairpoints
It's good to share, so here's a simple way for you to combine your Airpoints Dollars™ with friends and family to buy Air New Zealand flights, Star Alliance flights and plenty of other great rewards. It's called Shairpoints and it's easy to get going.
An Airpoints member sets up a Shairpoints Account. This person is called the 'Enabler', and they can invite up to four people to join them in the Shairpoints Account each year, starting on the anniversary of the Enabler's date of joining. Up to two of these invited members can live at a different address from the Enabler. The Enabler can also choose which members can spend from the combined Shairpoints Account, and which members can only spend from their own individual Airpoints Dollars balance. When spending from the Shairpoints Account, the oldest Airpoints Dollars are always spent first.

What do you guys think of the name? I think it's a stupid non name and an insult to the English language. How hard is it to just call it Family Pool and you don't need to trademark it.

Got this from Kiwibank:
Dear Wayoutwest,
Airpoints Family is having a makeover, and as a Go Fly cardholder, we wanted you to be the first to know.
The feedback Air New Zealand has had on Airpoints Family has been great, so they're making it available to all Air New Zealand AirpointsTM members and giving it a new name - from now on Airpoints Family will be called ShairpointsTM.
Nothing will change for you, other than the name. You still access it in exactly the same way, and all your passwords are the same.
Air New Zealand will also be in touch shortly about the change. In the meantime, because you're already an Airpoints Family member you've automatically been entered into the draw to win one of ten prizes of 2,000 Airpoints Dollars. Check out the competition terms and conditions.
And don't forget that with Go Fly
you'll earn Airpoints Dollars on every dollar spent,
you can access Go Fly Thursday,
you can treat yourself when travelling with complimentary Koru Lounge passes for every $15,000 spent.
Yours sincerely

Have asked them what they intend to do now an "exclusive" to Gofly has been lost, but could be quite a wait.
This really makes tsay ANZ card the one to go with now as at least you get points to use with any airline not just NZ

I, too, will ask questions of Astwick when I receive my email. But I will be looking around at other possibilities.

Email from Kiwibank retrieved from junkmail which my ISP had decided it was. LOL
But one thing it doesn't mention is the 200 airpoints advance. I think that is only available with the GoFly card or am I wrong? If so, it's surprising that Astwick didn't mention it.

The change by Kiwibank really makes the ANZ Platinum card more attractive, better earn rate, lower fees and cheap joining fee for Koru
