The EMD number is the electronic document number for your SAF purchase. Youll receive it by email after payment. If its missing, request an invoice via the desktop site for your flight. The EMD number will always be listed there.

Surely the EMD number is just the ticket number, beginning 057. Otherwise, at the top of the document is a number which begins AFDE, indicating that the ticket was bought in Germany. It's preceded by the word Rechnung, which means invoice (or bill) in German.

No, it's a different number than your ticket number. It does start with 057 (Air France) or 074 (KLM), but the number itself is different. The invoice remarks state that it is linked to the ticket number.

Does anyone knows how they check boarding passes if you travel by train from ZWE or ZTR. I live in Ams, want to take a trip ZYR - KRK and wonder if I need to take the train at all or just walk into Schiphol...

Missing 21XP to maintain Gold until end of April, after having been owned by SK not realizing R didnt provide XP. Anyway, no flights in sight, I would want to avoid going for a run (mostly for time and environnemental reasons), is there any alternative for getting XP (all is already done) out of Switzerland (I cannot see their XP offer on a credit card, only Miles)? I missed the SAF on my previous flight, because I was hoping for a last work trip before the end of the year that got cancelled.
Alternatively, has anyone experience with extending status due to paternity leave? I have a vague souvenir this was possible in the past, but might confuse it with M&M and only for women?

21XP is only 1 r/t in Y with the smallest SAF donation (or even none, just counting on FB gifting you the 1XP as they are wont to do) so I wouldn't bother too much with losing 40k miles, instead spending the less than 200eur for a little trip, it's not like you have to make it until end November.

Hm questions is what you want to do longer term. ME of course has SV and a few other ST members. If you don't see yourself maintaining Gold longer term or using your miles, now spending 40k on donations for the 1-2 flights you may still do with ST for the perks may be worth it. But Fabo is right, 40k miles can be 400 Euro if you play it right, and if you can do one cheapish run for 200 Euro that is more cost effective

Donating miles is much better than just losing them, and keeping gold would also keep the remaining points alive a year longer than otherwise if no ST travel will happen.

SAS Business Class XP Saga Update:
I had put this whole SAS XP topic on hold for a bit and didnt follow up with the Platinum Service Line anymore. This morning I decided to send a full, well-documented summary directly to Flying Blue, including all confirmations, boarding passes, and the official SAS announcement.
Surprisingly, they replied within 30 minutes. Their response basically confirms what we all suspected: Flying Blue has just received official notice that SAS has replaced its Premium (Plus) product with Business Class on European routes. However, they also said they havent yet received the updated XP and Miles mapping for domestic and medium-distance flights.
So, they now acknowledge that SAS Plus is gone and Business is the new product, but their internal XP tables still need to be updated. My case will remain open until thats done, and theyll follow up once the system is aligned.
At least theres now official confirmation from Flying Blue that this is a known issue. Im confident itll be corrected retroactively once the backend update goes live.

They confirmed the SAS/XP issue is still under investigation. But at least manual corrections are now being processed while thats ongoing.

Hi
One question on SAS flights. I am booking a flight. Business class. On one of the last steps it says that some segments will be economy (probably no business seats). Do they still do XPs as for business, or they will give as for economy?

Any new routes on KLM / AirFrance in Europe in busiess class for good XP?
Hi, I need 100 XP before the end of the year to maintain Platinum. Can you suggest the most efficient route? I did some Milano - KRK in the past and liked it. Dong Antwerp - Torino and it is quite good. But maybe some other suggestions? Based in AMS.

I called today (November 11) and within an hour I got this email, basically saying that SAS Business is actually Premium Economy for Flying Blue XP purposes and will only give 10 XP:
Thank you for your email and documents.
Kindly note that how a *paid booking class* is displayed in their ticket/reservation/website and how it is sold via the official channels of any Partner in our Programme it is exclusively for usage in their own Fidelity program. All our Partners have a credit contract with us in which they decide how and when the *pbc* are credited, contract which it is translated for our Members in the *Airline TAB* of the said Partner, available at the *Earning Miles*, *Airlines*, on our website, which it is the only official way of credit in this Program. As per our SAS Partner contract, the *pbc* *A* it is a Premium Economy which receives XP as per the Premium Economy Cabin.
We thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter and we wish you many pleasant journeys and rewards.
Sincerely yours,
Platinum Service Line
Should I call somewhere else?
It concerns 2 different trips in October and October/November.
