According to the flight information it does states that the SQ flight will depart from T1.

I guess you are right it will be a remote station, unless i missed somthing and ADP create a gate for the A380 in T1???

According to this ADP document (page 10) from 2007 there is 1 A380 ready gate at T1.

Hi

According to the relaxnews agency (march 4th, 2009) the first CDG-SIN flight in A380 with SQ will start on June 2nd.
AF should deploy its first A380 to New-York.

According to airliners.net and its very reliable AF internal source, AF confirms what we were discussing a couple of months ago.

The first revenue flight

JFK and then DXB will be the first two destinations used for pilots training.

Then AF will use its A380 to JNB.
Today, JNB is served from CDG by 2 x Daily B77W.
The night flight to JNB from CDG will remain DAILY and upgraded to an A380 while the second flight (daylight CDG-JNB) will be reduced to 3 x Weekly (B77W).

To NRT, where AF operates 3 x Daily today, AF will go down to 2 x DAILY with an A380 operating AF272/AF271 and a B77W operating AF278/AF277.

The third (morning) frequency to NRT (A332 or A343) will be moved to HND.

IAD, during the summer, will also go from 3 x Daily to 2 x Daily, one of the 2 being upgraded to an A380.

The second A380 (msn 040 F-HPJB) will be delivered in November 2009, and the third one (msn 043 F-HPJC) in January 2010.

Two more aircraft F-HPJD & JE should be delivered in 2010, normally before the summer...
I am quite surprised concerning the NRT dispatch; AF272/271 being the morning frequency (332 or 343). What happens to AF276/275?

As AF271 is a code shared with JAL, operated by JAL, we can safely assumed it won't be on a A380.

The flight operated by JL is AF280 (JL406), which departs at 1920.

That's true for CDG to NRT. But for NRT to CDG the flight operated by JL is the 11:05 AM AF271 flight (JL405).

Can you tell me when A380 will be introduces service for CDG-IAD or JFK? When I can expect to see AF A380 coming into JFK during pilots training. After that AF will deployment A380 service for CDG-NRT/JNB/DXB and etc. It's logical choice which the destinations where AF will put on A380 service CDG-MIA/LAX. I don't sense anything else where A380 will put more route to replacement 77W. However, I will try go back to JFK to seeing more newest A380 coming. I will have to informed from my old manager at JFK. I can't wait to see EK coming into JFK aorund May 15 before they are pulled out A380 due to poor performance. It will be swapped back to 77W. A380 will be swapped for YYZ instead of JFK.

Hi!
My mistake, the morning frequency (332 or 343) is AF272/279
Sorry for that.

strange that it doesn't come with a premium economy section.

It doesn't look like from this seat map that it would feature a new La premiere product. it is looking very much like the current product from what we can see.

80 seats will be available in affaire VS 67 for 77W
and 449 seats in eco VS 250 for the 77W
Most of the increased capacity will be for economy seats

Good thing is that Affaire will be 2x2x2 and not 2x3x2 as on the 777
