Watched it last night en direct ... Augustin de Romanet is a pompous, self-satisfied windbag.

Not sure if their responsibility covers all the way to the tarmac, but if it is, their lack of incompetence has spread to tarmac/airfield security. Amazed how these activist managed to get to the parked plane and had the time to do cosmetic damage (hopefully only this) to the plane.

Angry

CDG 2F this morning...
Instead of complaining on Twitter, Mr De Romanet could act and reopen some terminals, and open more lanes at security

To add on that topic, I was connecting from 2E to 2F last Saturday morning, and it took me 1.20h to clear Security and Immigration controls at CDG, despite flying in J and having SkyPriority benefits. The priority lane was not opened, and only 1 lane for security was operating with at least 100 passengers before me.
I am glad I had a 3-hour layover!

Last week, the security agents at 2E/2F crossings told me that there were discussion about further staff reduction. Same as you, only one lane was open. That doesn't bode well for this summer

Indeed and that sounds totally crazy, if it’s true.

Unhappy

Mr De Romanet can be proud of having become the head of the largest homeless people care center of the Parisian region...
Earlier this week, I arrived around 10 pm at 2F and the number of homeless people in the terminal is just becoming out of control. They were everywhere in the terminal, even at departure level. And ADP is bothering people all day long to control who is accessing the terminals because access is restricted to passengers only. Indeed...

Isn’t the airlines that pay for the priority lanes. If they’re not open, then it’s an Air France issue, not an ADP issue.

Same on the way to CDGVAL (where of course you need to wait 15 minutes because of COVID and end up not being able to respect social distancing)

These lanes are for all airlines in CDG, especially now that all airlines are funnelled into 2E/2F

Another good one returning from EU/Schengen into CDG
Disembarking in 2F1 and reaching the point where Covid tests/vaccines are checked by Croix Blanche, there was no one in sight. This is also the point where you turn right to access PAF booths and you know that there 2 arrival flows :
- the one via PAF or all Schengen arrivals
- the one that leads directly to baggage claim for domestic arrivals

the way to PAF was « closed » by a cordon, while several police booths were manned and the way to domestic arrival was open. There was one ADP agent here controlling the place. She said « this way please » directing everyone through domestic arrival. I was literally laughing internally and then I heard the agent asking the passenger behind me « where are you arriving from? » (she likely realized that she may have sent the passengers the wrong way ). The passenger said the EU destination we were all arriving from, but the agent didn’t change anything : all pax of my flight bypassed PAF, neither tests or vaccinations cards were checked, nor passports.
I don’t know if she didn’t want to lose face, to get into troubles if changing if the first pax were already too far to be retrieved, or if she didn’t know if our origin city was in France or elsewhere ?
What a joke

on a satellite note, the arrival corridor at the end of the jetway had several papers stuck on the wall saying that from January 2021, PCR test is mandatory to enter France. Not true anymore since Wednesday but no one ever think to remove those papers (and they were totally useless before as well as you were not supposed to arrive at that place without test - too late to discover this).

Cmon, you guys complain about the lines being too long and now you complain about no controls. This is a good thing!

Seriously I had a similar event back in December. I did not complain.
