Yes, though despite tons of miles sitting in my AA account I've long been out of the OW orbit. Lol, I still have flashbacks to being awakened by that sliding divider between adjacent J seats on some of the BA flights.

My flight from CDG to YVR in june also just got changed from A350 to 777-200. Any chance they would swap planes again?

Yes, they could swap right up until departure. Sometimes for technical or operational reasons.

AF just swapped B777-300ER (with LP) on my flight for a B777-200 (without LP). How is row 1 on this plane? I am in 1L at the moment, but vast majority of the seats are unoccupied.

The J seats are all the same. AF tend to use heavy curtains, so light/noise from the galley will likely not be a problem.

Not the optima ones. I find the small crevice between the bottom and back parts of the seat somewhat disturbing while in lie flat position. Only if they provided toppers.

What do the Optimas have to do with this thread, which is about the 772?

Comparing 772 to 77W(COI)/359. Previous threads were about switch from these.

And what do those threads have to do with the post you replied to/quoted which was in reply to and quoted

This sounded like generalizing all J seats and how 772 is no different seat-wise.

hhdl was explaining that all seats on the B772 are the same and that there is not one better seat. And this is the B772 thread after all.

So you don't read the post quotes?

Q: What is nice about bananas?
A: They're yellow and sweet (and in rare cases, their shape can be useful)
X: No! Tomatoes are red.
