Indeed, this is correct.

But as I was trying to say, probably the real issue.

(If you want me to say that I should have brought that up in the first place, I probably should agree...)

I am getting very frustrated that after 3 phone calls to AE / AC and 3 customer solutions, and 1.5 months, I am still not getting a resolution on missing bonus miles due to an T+ ticket being rebooked in T.

On Sept 19, I ended up being rebooked on a T+ ticket and YOW-YYZ-YVR was booked in T class. I called AE and they did correct the status miles and the SE 100% bonus miles as adjustments and that posted in a few days. Unfortunately, the 50% NA bonus miles that should have been triggered (which was triggered for my return trip on reverse routing) did not get triggered since it was originally posted as T and the posted adjustment apparently do not trigger those NA 50% bonuses.

AE said that they do not give the bonus miles and that need to be followed up with AC. AC phone rep said to e-mail customer solutions. I did beginning of Oct and an agent replied that SE 100% bonus posted but I was asking about the NA 50% bonus which did not post so she did not bother to understand the issue. I am really frustrated that AC has no reponse after 2-3 follow ups after the incorrect reply from an agent. It is only a little over 1000 miles but it is the principle.

AC IT has some issues with exceptions... I hate the fact that each AC and AE is either saying there is no issue to correctly incorrectly or the issue need to be resolved with the other party... You start wondering if these agents well trained or not.

Try contacting Customer Care via e-mail. I've had very good luck with the people who respond to my requests through that venue, esp. a CSR named Ryan.

I did and I am on e-mail follow up 4 of which 2 were ignored completely and for 2 of them (1st Oct 2nd and 4th today) I got an agent Nora who insist that it was posted first SE bonus and today NA bonus. But she actually proved my point in her reply that only YVR-HNL-YUL-YOW NA bonuses posted so I am still missing 50% rapidair bonus for YOW-YYZ 50% NA bonus for YYZ-YVR on Sept 19.

One thing I don't like the e-mail/web is that you cannot escalate easily when you got an agent who is not on the ball. On the phone, you can ask to speak with a supervisor.

I don't know if it is that agent or this promotion that is causing someone's brain to short circuit. Sorry, I am not usually so irate but 1.5 months is getting absolutely ridiculous.
