reads to me that you need to fly 3 segments using Air Canada to one of the International destinations listed to get the 25K bonus. A segment would be the one-way of the trip (so a return would be 2 segments).

You need to fly J in order to get the 25K bonus. If you're back in Y the bonus is only 10K.
The wording also indicates that you need to fly on eligible non-stop flights between Canada and various destinations, so basically you need to fly a minimum of one return + one one-way to get your 3 segments.
