Why do I have -136 Aeroplan miles?
I had 300,163 miles and then made a Asia 1 redemption in J for 2 people (300K). The Aeroplan agent remarked that I had 163 miles left, yay.
Since at the moment I had no use for Aeroplan miles, I just ignored all their emails from the past two months. But I dug them up again because they list the mileage balance at the top.
After booking: 163 miles, but verbally confirmed since I didn't bother checking Aeroplan.com
April 22: 3 miles
April 29: 3 miles
April 30: "-,172 miles" [note the position of negative sign and comma]
Today: "-,136 miles"
The only transaction that happened between booking the tickets and today was a $36 recurring phone bill on an Aeroplan credit card I never use (besides for the cell plan). So that explains the jump from -172 to -136. Other than that, I didn't refund anything on that card...
I hope I don't owe Air Canada anything and they won't pull the tickets from underneath if I don't settle the miles debt. How would I even go about doing that besides spending $136 or flying? Jeez

Looks like a systemwide outage. Groundstop in effect currently.

Two bookings made yesterday (and that we could access to select seats) are showing 'error 2000'- you cancelled or flight already departed.... Should we wait and see another day in case this is all in the rinse water or look at rebooking? flights are not for this week but confirmed and check-able is better than 'error state'

Update 1: found the e tickets via Saudia. So will sit back and let the technical issues smooth out before trying via AC. Love the thoughtful advice on this site!
Update 2: was able to get into Manage Booking, confirm seats, etc at approx 15:43 today- back to regular programming I guess.

Anyone else getting a Internal server error logging on Altitude?
Also getting a We're not able to validate your Air Canada Altitude status at this time. when trying to book a flight, which is a real pain if you wanna pick premium seats..

Yes, happened earlier: AC Mobile+ and Aeroplan credentials refused by the iOS app. Seems to be fine now.
