Aeroplan 15,000 Mile reward ticket ?

Does the Aeroplan 15,000 mile short-haul reward ticket still exist ?

The most recent thread I have found on the subject is from late 2005, and I can't find any reference to it on the AP website.

Thanks in advance.

There is still the 15K short haul YEG-YVR, for example.

Short haul is alive and well at 15K for coach and 25K for business.

I am flying out on Thursday YMM-YVR and returning on October 6. Tix acquired on Aeroplan.com for 15,000 Aeroplan miles.

Cheers!

Ywg-ord ???

Thanks much.

According to the chart there should be a 15,000 mile reward ticket available on flights from YWG - ORD ?

But I haven't been able to find anything other than 25,000 mile availability on the Aeroplan website.

Any suggestions ? Flights would be in late November or December / 2006.

Could be tough given U.S. Thanksgiving 'round that time. Perhaps the few economy reward seats already gone.

Nonstop YWG-ORD only (you'll see on the chart it saids *Chicago only, via Winnipeg only.) and since there are no AC operated YWG/ORD, the 15K award is not applicable. If you want the nonstop, you'll have to claim the 25K Star Alliance award as the flight is operated by UAX or you have to go via YUL, YOW or YYZ.

So act quickly and snag the UA seats. Its no different than trying to score the V bucket for shorthaul, because everybody heads for the cheapest possible first. No need to get mad unless you wait too long and find yourself stuck with the higher priced alternative due to inaction.
