The Aeroplan mileage earned on an AC codeshared flight on another airline's metal, depends upon the rules of earning miles for that airline. See link below, for details on your particular questions:
https://www.aeroplan.com/en/collect/...rn_airline.jsp
(note - you must determine, from the Air Canada/Aeroplan/other airline's agent as to the booking code on that airline, which corresponds to the Q and L booking codes on an Air Canada ticket - and then use the web site to see what the converted booking code ticket will earn you, in terms of Aeroplan miles).

An AC codeshare on LH, booked in L on AC, will show up as a W fare on LH when it posts. However, often AC's system will reject the W fare as this is its own award class. If this happens, send in a copy of the ticket indicating the original AC codeshare flight number and booking class, along with the LH boarding pass stub. (Always save these items as your miles should post within a day or two of the flight, at the latest. If it doesn't best to send this into the AE centre for credit.)

As suggested by FlyergoldII, see https://www.aeroplan.com/en/collect/...rn_airline.jsp
Be warned that intra-european flights on LH in Y, B, M, H, Q, V, W, S, G earn 50% of miles flown with a minimum of 500 miles. Otherwise it's 100% except for W and S (see https://www.aeroplan.com/en/collect/air_lufthansa.jsp)

Note that even if you booked your codeshare flight(s) with a four digit AC flight number, and it shows that way on your ticket, your boarding pass will bear the flight number of the actual airline. Thus, although as an AC flight, an intra-European flight should earn 100%, it will post with the LH or BD flight number and only earn 50% [as noted above]. However, if it doesn't post, and you send you ticket and boarding pass in, the flight often posts 100% mileage.

Sorry to hijack this thread but I think it's a related question (to which I didn't get answer). I just completed some discounted bus class flights on Varig (C class, I think) and I only got 100%, not 125% status miles. There's nothing on the website to suggest that discounted business only gets 100% on Varig. Is it worth writing to the Aeroplan Centre to ask for the additional status miles? It will make the difference between qualifying early for Elite and not getting Elite status until next March.

It is the partner airline that decides how many AE miles it will give for its various fare levels, not AE. If Varig has two business class fares, just as AC does, then it is unlikely to give the same mileage for both, and thus you'd get a lower mileage [i.e. 100%] for discounted business and a higher one [i.e. 125%] for full business class. Afterall, the airline is not getting more money from you, so why should you get the same number of miles when you've already received your bonus in the form of a discounted business class fare?

Are there any other Star Alliance carriers, besides Varig and AC (for non-North American flights) who do not give the 25% COS bonus, for discounted business class fares?

Again, sorry to hijack this thread.
Then can anyone help if it is a UA codeshare flight with AC555. I'm booked on V class on United. So does this fare earn miles? Tango Plus fare?

Generally V on UA maps to something like a V or H on AC. In this case:
V7FN AC V One-Way 238.50 (CAD)
VPA7CNX UA V One-Way 253.50 (CAD)
H5FN AC H One-Way 258.50 (CAD)
VPA3CNX UA V One-Way 264.50 (CAD)
So you should be OK for miles earning (ie non-Tango equivalent)

H5FN AC H One-Way 258.50 (CAD)
