Leaving in 15 minutes to see the YYC gang and their white Stetsons. I'll raise a glass to all Alberta FTers ! Any local scandals/issues you want me to address to His Worship D. Bronconnier ?
Still haven't made up my mind on what I'll wear; maybe something traditional like beaver pelts, a red wollen tuque and my Sorel boots.
If anything untoward happens, I'll try to get photos and I'll report fully here, unless it involves me !
Does anyone know if Dar Heatherington came out this way with the Calgary delegation ? I'll introduce her to Bonhomme !

Back from the big cocktail party
Just got back in from the Calgary Carnaval Reception. Ran into that big snowman again; he was seriously into the Polar Ice vodka
Bonhomme told me he doesn't fly much anymore ever since an unfortunate incident when he was travelling LAX-BWI on Southwest and was denied boarding for alledgedly being under the influence; he also had a beef with their "customer of size" policy; he thought he might show up on a upcoming episode of "Airline".
Being fiscally responsible like all good Alberta politicians, the Mayor of Calgary stayed home as the city budget goes before the council meeting on Monday.
Nice group of people, couple of drinks and lots of laughs ^
