It's distributed by PepsiCo in North America...
Again, I definitely won't be able to tell the difference... Sugary drinks is sugary drinks, the sugar overpower any minor variations in flavours.
"Is Pepsi okay?"

Oh, AC, how you've lost loyalty in 2026. Change the elite program, gut the partner earnings, even reduce upgrade/R space. But take away Coke products?
So it's basically this:
I can pick out Coke Zero from anything else in blind taste tests, and with high probability say how fresh or close to expiration it is. Alap if it was fountain, a freestyle fountain, or from a can/plastic/glass bottle.
Same with Coca Cola with high fructose corn syrup vs Kosher Coca Cola for passover (in season for another week--hurry, I've hit up Jewish grocery stores in 2 states already)
So it's basically this:
Clark: Remember how I was toying with the idea of suspending the Christmas bonuses?
Mrs. Shirley: You didn't! Well, of all the cheap, lousy ways to save a buck!
SWAT Commander: That's pretty low, mister. If I had a rubber hose, I would beat you to

I'm pretty sure Coke distributes Seagrams in the US, while Canada Dry and Schweppes are both owned by the Dr Pepper (KDP) brand? Not sure if it's different in Canada or if AC's licensing allows for something different...
I would imagine most people feel less strongly about soft drinks than the wine or liquor list, but count me as those whose preferences are Canada Dry and Coke Zero.

Maybe Schweppes is distributed by Pepsi? I happened to have a bottle in my fridge and it says it is a trademark of Canada Dry Motts inc.
In the grocery store, Canada Dry is always in with the Coke products and Schweppes is in with the Pepsi products. Neither can hold a candle to Fevertree Ginger Ale, but fat chance of ever seeing that on AC.

Lots of die-hard anythings just buy their brand because it's what they've always done.
Just like how I have tried numerous rums in my Coke Zero before settling on my favorite, I also tried a bunch of colas. Which included tossing a full bag-in-box Narvon that taste like absolute trash.
Disappointed isn't even the right word. There was a fairly long period where I would bring minis of spiced rum on board, and at the beginning of the flight, talk to the SD, explain that I hate their rum, but obviously won't consume my own alcohol, and that I could provide them with the minis for them to serve to me. A lot said no, but not all.
Thankfully they fixed that recently, and I was back to being able to get my favorite simple mixed drink on AC. I'm so glad there was a 6 month window in the last 6 years that I was content.
I am very particular about beverages. I need to figure out where I can buy a six-pack airside, at least at SFO, YVR, and YYZ.

Literally none of us SDs/FAs had asked for this. NONE. We know how much SEs/MMs need their Coke Zero...
FYI:
Coke - Pepsi
Diet Coke - Diet Pepsi
Coke Zero - Pepsi Zero
Sprite - 7-Up
Canada Dry Ginger Ale - Schweppes Ginger Ale
Canada Dry Tonic Water - Schweppes Tonic Water
Canada Dry Club Soda - Schweppes Club Soda
Apparently PepsiCo supplies the Montellier and Miss Vickie's.
I always asked if Coke was okay when the Americans asked for Pepsi...so I guess I have to learn to switch now.
