I can tell which one is which, and I have a very strong preference.

As an absolute nobody around here, I'll be the lone voice in the wilderness who supports the switch to Pepsi. I'm not passionate about Coke vs Pepsi -- I'm fine with either -- but if both are on offer, I'd take the Pepsi first.

I don't really drink soft drinks these days, so Pepsi or PC cola for that matter, it doesn't bother me. If it saves AC a few bucks and their stock goes up, all good to me.

I am somewhat surprised about the change as Coke is usually way more aggressive than Pepsi on pricing in most channels.

Wait, nobody said anything about Ginger Ale...what is the "Pepsi" version of Ginger Ale? The "Champagne of Ginger Ale's" has always been better than any "Champagne" that AC has had on offer!

Interesting. I thought (from a past life) that most people would choose Pepsi in a blind test, eventhough they were die hard Coke drinkers. You would do well on Gordon Ramsay's blind taste test.

Just like how I have tried numerous rums in my Coke Zero before settling on my favorite, I also tried a bunch of colas. Which included tossing a full bag-in-box Narvon that taste like absolute trash.
Disappointed isn't even the right word. There was a fairly long period where I would bring minis of spiced rum on board, and at the beginning of the flight, talk to the SD, explain that I hate their rum, but obviously won't consume my own alcohol, and that I could provide them with the minis for them to serve to me. A lot said no, but not all.
Thankfully they fixed that recently, and I was back to being able to get my favorite simple mixed drink on AC. I'm so glad there was a 6 month window in the last 6 years that I was content.
I am very particular about beverages. I need to figure out where I can buy a six-pack airside, at least at SFO, YVR, and YYZ.

Do you care what brand of gas goes in the plane or what farm the chicken is sourced from?
Why does the brand of carbonated sugar water elicit so much emotion? If I'm going to drink that stuff, I have a slight preference for Pepsi, but I certainly don't avoid places that don't have it. I'm not 3 years old...
