If you have received an incorrect amount of SQx/points, please see the thread on missing/incorrect flight activity.

Thanks to everyone who continues to share data. I don't reply to most of the posts to avoid padding my post count, but if your post has gotten a Like from me or the cow, your data point should have been added to the database

I'm shocked no one ever flew this under the old Aeroplan.

Noob Q: why the approximate 0.5% shortchanging (across the board?) vs. Great Circle Mapper distances?

There's more than one way to calculate these distances, and you'll often find different sources will have slightly different results. For example, AC used to credit 1746 for YYC-IAH. UA MP was 1747. GCmap shows 1748. WebFlyer or some other tool had it at 1745, and some other tool calculated 1750 or 1752.

The "discrepancy" is usually well under 0.5%.

Since the late 2020 revamp, many Aeroplan distances have gotten slightly shorter, but some have remained the same and others have gotten longer.

The cowtool seems to be a great resource! That said, what if book a Business or PE fare, but are seated in Economy on a given segment because there is no premium cabin. For example, PE fare but Economy class B. Do I enter B, PL...or B and some Economy Class family? Thanks....

B,PL

Though this is definitely one place I'm not sure it would be correct.

For B,PL specifically it'll be fine, but M,EL or Y,EL I'm not sure.
