Dear Limall,
As the lounge is owned by GTAA this is not an Air Canada issue.
As a gesture of goodwill here is a 5% code not to be used during peak travel vouchers.
And further here is a $10 voucher for the family meal you missed.
As a reminder to all customers we don't recommend eating raisin bran prior to entering our lounges.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Customer care.

Lol. That last comment made my day! I finally got out. Now waiting to be rebooked. I mostly feel so bad for my family. They are literally doing the dinner tonight because of me and now I won't even be there.

I hope the CBC story highlights the irony here:
Sept 2019 an Irish lady was forced to soil herself in her seat during a 90 minute tarmac delay. She was offered 600 CAD in vouchers that went up to 900AD IIRC.
Oct 2019 AC starts giving an extra 90 extra minutes of unwanted lav time.
Let us know what you get for compensation. Or should I say, what's left after you pay for the damaged lock and rescue service.
//GTAA has a knack for trapping passengers. Lounges above the terminal without stairs to use when elevators break, and now a cafe steps away from the gates that trap people in.
