18. This number holds a very special place for people in Quebec. Although the legal drinking age here is, for the most part, simply a suggestion, its was always fun to know we could drink and most other provinces could not. At least I found a solution to this problem during first year University, the fact the bars only closed at 1:00am was probably the biggest contribution to my graduating.
On the other hand, it looks like my most recent attempt at solving the issue has not worked, so you'all are stuck with me for a while longer.
Day 18, and AC.com still shows a March 1st departure....

XX: For some its a beer. For others it's how the French greet each other. Perhaps a chromosome makeup, or an album by Toto?
For the Romans, its a number.

In QC we would go to bars at 15/16, and bet happy just to get in, so we remained cool thereby learning how to drink. By the time we hit 18, we know how to act in a bar and avoided that sudden freedom syndrome.
Now we are well off topic, so I should nudge this back toward the thread...
Looks like AC's system sync schedulers learned how to drink in Ontario....
There you go Mods...

I really think CBC would have fun with this one (the actual leap year issue, not the thread ). Just MHO.

I'm not anywhere close to that.
Now... I think everyone will agree I've taken all the necessary steps to correct the situation. If I get to the airport on February 29th and cannot board, then I will escalate to the highest level. If following that I still do not get any resolution, then maybe I might consider going to the media.

I read that as PLeblond throwing a bone and keeping the thread "on topic".
Still showing March 1st.
Hey. AC. If you're following this thread and keeping the departure date as March 1st for poops and giggles, can you switch it to April 1st tomorrow and I'll know we're all 'in' on the joke.

Indeed Nomad. I've learned my lesson about going off topic.
Still showing March 1st.

Oh wait, nevermind.
I can imagine... AC, the only airline where nobody flies them on February 29.

Today is Blackjack right? Also the LDA in Texas amongst others.
Well, it is winter so there may be unexpected things occurring. Like snow at YYZ.

Ahhhh 21. My game of choice at a casino. Or rather, it s better know name of Blackjack on this continent. It's the only game where I end up up more often up than down, except for that day when 11 hit at roulette at Palazzo on a one time bet. I stay away of Spanish 21 and other out there variants of the game, call me a classicist. I always spit aces even though I usually get 3s on them. I mostly double down on 10s. I like to sit on the end of the table and really enjoy the little nod I get from other players when I pass on a hard 12 cause the dealer is showing a 6, and ends up busting. Makes me feel like I belong there. Except that time then the 4 other players were Nunns with beards drinking tall boys and Vodka Redbulls. I think it was a stag more than my inebriation, but then again we were at the Cosmopolitan, so maybe not.
Regardless, Day 21 and AC.com still showing a March 1st departure.
(NB. You know it jc94 ... that one way a given...)

My apologies to Joseph Heller..
Yossarian looked at him soberly and tried another approach. "Is PLeblond crazy?"
"He sure is," Doc Daneeka said.
"Can you ground him?"
"I sure can. But first he has to ask me to. That's part of the rule."
"Then why doesn't he ask you to?"
"Because he's crazy," Doc Daneeka said. "He has to be crazy to keep trying to fly on February 29th, flying on that date after all the close calls he's had. Sure, I can ground PLeblond But first he has to ask me to."
"That's all he has to do to be grounded?"
"That's all. Let him ask me."
"And then you can ground him?" Yossarian asked.
"No. Then I can't ground him."
"You mean there's a catch?"
"Sure there's a catch," Doc Daneeka replied. "Catch-22. Anyone who wants to get out flying on February 29th isn't really crazy."
There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one's safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind. PLeblond was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly on February 29th. PLeblond would be crazy to fly on February 29th and sane if he didn't, but if he was sane he had to fly then. If he flew then he was crazy and didn't have to; but if he didn't want to he was sane and had to. Yossarian was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22 and let out a respectful whistle.
"That's some catch, that Catch-22," he observed.
"It's the best there is," Doc Daneeka agreed.

Dude. Or rather 'The Dude'. Jeff Lebowski, better know in cult status as The Big Lebowski, or 'the Dude' was known to be a prolific bowler. Althought no one actually sees him bowing in the movie, they are always bowling in the same lane.
Lane 23...
