Where did you find this H-class fare YYZ-HKG/TPE? EMPRESS has already noted the current H-fares are at least $2300 now.

I wonder if they are ever going to restore YVR-TPE flight... they have been code-sharing for almost a year now.

If you're actually willing to pay for an H fare on the Eva flight, you might as well buy the ticket from Eva directly on its Evergreen deluxe class. It's 2-4-2 seating arrangment on the B744 and you get 38 in pitch. For YVR-TPE-HKG-TPE-YVR, you can get it directly from EVA for about $1300-1500 tax in. Just book thru their website.

Plus just add a cheap ticket for YYZ-YVR-YYZ separately. I know Jetsgo and Westjet has a sale going on right now and this seaparate roundtrip shouldn't cost over $500.

No need to go through the ridiculous upgrade lottery on AC for its YVR-HKG.

I personally think Evergreen Deluxe Class is an extremely good deal.

J to HKG are not that full in Oct so you stand a pretty good chance or getting it if you're on H or higher. (Assuming you're Elite or Super Elite)

I would take that over the Eva Deluxe Class anytime.

Shareholder - you could walk into any Asian travel agency in Toronto and they should be able to get you a similar fare.
