YUL Grand Prix - Latest victim to cost cutting
From the Daily.
June 13-15 your last change to cheer for the Air Canada Grand Prix. The 2003 Air Canada Grand Prix race is revving up to a fever pitch, however, its also the final year of our title sponsorship agreement. Over the past five years, this high profile event has provided Air Canada with invaluable worldwide visibility but, as our primary goal is to cut costs, this sponsorship has been cancelled. While this years event will still be called the Air Canada Grand Prix, our on-site branding is significantly reduced there will be no trackside signage or grass signs, and Air Canada will not do any hosting at the event.
