I'm just expecting that the January numbers are going to be way worse; I saw a lot of boards full of red at YYZ over the last 4 weeks.

January results are in, and AC is once again #1 in North America - destroying the competition coming in at 54% on time for the month.
It wasnt even close - although Westjet tried hard and came in at 70%
On a global scale - only EgyptAir beat AC ... maybe February they can bring it in under 50%

This thread has become another hate-on for AC. We should be discussing what we think the reasons are for these results rather than providing our standard sassy comments about how terrible AC is.
I am certain their abysmal OT performance vs the competition is being taken seriously by management, and I am also certain they know exactly what the reasons are for their on-time results better than we do. Unfortunately, we don’t have this information, nor any knowledge about their plan to improve this metric.
I think it would be a more interesting thread if we shared our thoughts of what the actual reasons could be vs the standard complaining about the airline. Is it their computer system, are the flight schedules too tight, aircraft maintenance issues, not enough ground crews, etc? What is setting AC apart from the others in terms of OTP?

Also, your post didn't provide any reason for AC's late OTP in your thread.
