24L et al. Thanks again for posting these pictures.

My toddler and I are doing some TPAC trips in PY (she's too little to solo a J pod).

I can see that on the 788/9, that in PY rows 12-14, all of the DEG middle seats have an immovable arm-rest. So we'll take the AC or HK combos for those flights.

Does anyone know if on a 77W, if PY rows 13-14 have any arm rests that can be raised in the DEFG middle section? I'm trying to see if I can get a pair where she can sleep across the two seats. Row 12 has IFE in the arm-rests.

AC 777-300ER J Seat

Will fly AC J from YVR TATL with the newer Studiopod (have flown the classicpod before) in seat 1K. As an overnight I want to get a few hours of sleep, read reviews regarding length of meal service being too long. So I want to get that done sooner ergo the 1K seat. That said I don't know how noisy it might be up front near galley. Any experience with this?

Front galley noise and light can be an issue. You can get the fast track all at once meal service (typically starts ~30-45 mins in) to save time. Or eat on the ground and crash at 10k feet.

For sleep I go a few seats back, row 4-5. Aim for something with each window access.

Noise is moderate, you will be given a kit anyways with ear plugs, combine that with eye cover & noise cancelling headphones should be fine.

Pop in two melatonin 5mg right after takeoff and you are good to go.

You can always have your meal later. I am not sure on TATL if they are willing to serve you dinner for breakfast though.

For red eyes in J I always eat on the ground, unless I am suffering insomnia.

The biggest problem with 1A and 1K IMHO is the enormous gap between the footrest and the side of the plane. I find that my outside foot always falls through that gap when I try to sleep on my back. Haven’t experienced that problem in any other window seats.

AC 777-300ER J Missing Windows

Are seats 7A and 7K missing a window on this aircraft? I've seen some pictures that appear to show the last seat in those rows with just one window but cannot find concrete confirmation of it. I'm flying the 777-300 next year and don't want the seat with just one window. (The aircraft I'm flying on does not have the mini rear J cabin, if that matters.)
