Ratification Vote is October 15.
No information posted on the 3 key issues that led to the dispute;
1. Local refusal to accept what it describes is a reduction in salary and benefits of $14/hour.
2. Non recognition of seniority for ramp bids.
3. Use of temporary workers who do not undergo the same training as union member full time workers.

In the period leading up to the labour disruption, Swissport had allegedly been hiring replacement workers and temps to do the union member jobs. This would have been illegal in British Columbia and Quebec.
