Interesting because AC is nowhere to be seen in the top 20 in neither business or economy

Baffling, simply baffling.

I would love being to be rated #1 where I work if my deliverables were less than 75% on time. Okay, maybe not.

I dunno if I'd take that list seriously.... quite a few on there are completely baffling and (warning: MY OPINION ONLY) much worse than AC in J hard and soft.

I'd say the J experience on AC planes with signature service (widebody planes I think) is actually pretty good for a North American airline.
However the J experience on non-signature service planes and the PY/Y experience on all planes are definitely not award-winning level.
gcashin and D404 like this.

If AC keeps competing with the worst airlines in the world, I am sure AC will win every time.

Realities are, on TATL market, AC is nothing without JV and government blocking ME3 plus TK. On TPAC market, AC fails competing with CA, MU, CZ on price, and fails competing with pretty much everyone else on quality. On NA market, there is simply no competition, until US big 3 is picking up recently.

You and I must have different definitions of common TATL routes. This makes no sense for Europe. Flying all the way to IST/DXB/AUH/DOH, with a layover, an backtracking several hours to Europe? Hell. No. If anything, the competation is from low cost carriers. If we're talking TATL J, I'd take AC J over TK J (bad hard product, extremely hot cabins) or Emirates/Etihad any day.

(Aside: It's more like ME2 now... )

By TATL I am including Middle East, Africa and South Asia, which I believe ME3 and TK can do very well should we have open sky. As for TK J vs AC J, I have voted with my wallet for TK, but this is really just a personal opinion.

As for European routes, the JV with UA and LH really helped AC.

Agreed, and fair point.

We can agree to disagree on our preferences .

Undoubtedly, but I also think even without the JV, AC's J is competative with any European carrier's J/C product (having flown almost all of them myself now, to compare).

Interesting because Qatar, Singapore, Japan, UAE, etc are nowhere to be seen on a map of the North American continent.

LOL- the list is a bit of a sham, as they make sure everybody gets some kind of award/recognition...

AC has "Best Business Class in NA"....AA has "Best First Class in NA" and DL has "Best Business Class Seat in NA"...

Looks like Rouge remains "not rated".
Prior to last year's "awards" it said rating soon.

I wonder how much AC is paying SkyTrax to keep hiding Rouge's rating (1* or 2* at best?) based how on their own site Rouge continues to be the worst rated airline in the world. (3/10, can't give 0)
