Nestle and Kit Kat are fine but a Luxury airline would do better, perhaps we need to wait for WS.

We need more posts like these. Perhaps AC will get the message and start to understand that flying the Canadian flag involves supply from one of the two west coast chocolate suppliers.

EXACTLY RIGHT. The issue of AC using Canadian-made products and showcasing them to the world is something that has been asked for before on this forum.

Are you suggesting that the SOP requires revision and that the Kit Kat should be locked into the same cart as the alcohol and only inserted into the junk food basket (sorry snack basket) once the aircraft has taken off and they only under supervision of the service director.
My one international UA flight had the basket sitting beside a knitting FA.
Even something as simple as that could prevent over-consumption.

Not to stereotype but I gotta wonder if the knitting FA looked like a grandmother with 6 grandkids.
NZ has a service to order snacks in seats. Maybe having AC IT update the IFE to allow people to order their Kit Kats is the solution here.
What could go wrong?
