Easy, credit AC legs to AP/Altitude, and credit TK legs to UA MP. That's what I'm going to do.

I'm assuming you do this by not adding an FFP number to your booking, then applying for the credit individually later? I've heard multiple times switching mid booking not working that's all.

While the 25% thing sucks, since I'm generally an ECON flyer, TK/AC/UA are basically the only ways I see to get from NA to EU while earning miles on a cheap fare. It bothers me that a DECENT price for an LX/LH flight earns 0% to AP. I don't have much experience on the matter since I've not been to europe recently, but at least when I flew BR YVR-TPE-MNL return there was at least an option to pay...around 75-100$ more CAD and still get 50% mileage, which I was happy to do. Sure it bumped my ticket price up, but it was still a good fare.

I need to travel to IST, i was looking at booking their Business Semi-Flexible fare. Going through the booking I cannot find what class this books in. Does anyone know if those fares are eligible to accumulate to AC Altitude?

Thanks,
