Extra services on *A partners as AC *G/elite?
I'm wondering if anyone has experienced "extra services" as AC *G/elite member on other *A airlines beyond *A gold offers?
Personally, I've received extra services on OZ (seat selection on a seat map at check in and onboard greetings by the senior flight attendant, etc...). Nothing on SQ, TG, BR, NZ, LH or LX.

So yes, it makes sense for them to recognize you.

I got one of the rare op-ups on SQ, and another on SN, but generally no additional services.
Also on ET, you may get to ride on a separate bus with J Pax if flying economy from ADD. This depends on the aircraft and destination, but generally for flights on the B777 and B787.

I might get flamed for this - but I have to actually hand it to AI (yes, - I am giving Air India a positive comment).
AMD - DEL - LHR, when connecting in DEL for the 7 hour layover they took the time to flag me as a important pax, escort me to the lounge in the middle of the night, get me through security faster etc etc. Their level of service as a *G in my transit airport was honestly impressive.

After that, my wife refused to fly them again so hence the one and only sector...

I've only ever done 1 sector on AI (787 to KIX) so take it for what it is. Didn't receive any extra services. There were no pre landing safety checks so during landing, a lot of window blinds were still dark and many passengers had their seats down, etc...

I've had to fly into DEL 3x now from HKG, with another connecting flight into another part of India.
Since DEL is my port of entry, I need to pickup my luggage there. But since it's a 10 hour layover for me AND an overnighter, I need to bribe them to set my luggage aside for check-in later in the morning, and to take me to the lounge as well.

SP, was your AI 7 hour layover in Delhi an overnighter? Or during the day?

How it works for the flights I take LHR - BOM - AMD & AMD - DEL - LHR is that the port of entry / exit is actually AMD so I don't have to grab any luggage anywhere etc.
