AC Code of Conduct: Selling Practices

I wonder what people's opinions are about AC's own Code about selling practices, namely:

Selling our Products and Services
Our customers trust us to provide quality products and services, and be accurate when discussing our advantages and benefits. To maintain that trust:
we offer customers only those services which we are allowed to provide, either alone or through contract with an alliance partner or agent
we sell only those products and services our customers desire
we promote our products and services truthfully
we allow partners to ask the right questions about their competitive choices
we always act in a courteous, friendly and constructive manner when dealing with customers

My opinion about AC's code is identical with my opinion on >95% of other companies' codes (ethics code, code of conduct etc.):

They're just necessary documents companies need to have, nothing to take too seriously.

Not that I think AC is any worse than its competitors, I just don't believe in most of those statements.

They're complete baloney.

Not sure there are many competitors indulging in flagrant and presumably deliberate violations of the commercial code though.

(Admittedly that "code" is a nice exercise in fiction.)
