AC Code of Conduct: Selling Practices
I wonder what people's opinions are about AC's own Code about selling practices, namely:
Selling our Products and Services Our customers trust us to provide quality products and services, and be accurate when discussing our advantages and benefits. To maintain that trust: • we offer customers only those services which we are allowed to provide, either alone or through contract with an alliance partner or agent • we sell only those products and services our customers desire • we promote our products and services truthfully • we allow partners to ask the right questions about their competitive choices • we always act in a courteous, friendly and constructive manner when dealing with customers |

They're just necessary documents companies need to have, nothing to take too seriously. Not that I think AC is any worse than its competitors, I just don't believe in most of those statements. |

My opinion about AC's code is identical with my opinion on >95% of other companies' codes (ethics code, code of conduct etc.):
They're complete baloney. Not that I think AC is any worse than its competitors, I just don't believe in most of those statements. (Admittedly that "code" is a nice exercise in fiction.) |
