Wow, the kamaboko in the noodles lost the ANA logo. Maybe NH is undergoing some cost cutting "enhancements" of their own :D :D :D :D

Oh, I thought SE's had their own call center or something (vaguely?). On another note, when elites/se's call in, do they know what status we have? (eg does our respective status show up on their screen, and if that, do they simply say "elite" or "e50k" "e35k" etc..

ANA NRT #5 Satellite location

In the area when you enter, there is a concierge desk, the first buffet area and the seating with the great windows.
Walk down the hall, and there is the second seating area and another buffet station with the sake display.

Yum!

This great condiment display is in the buffet in the second eating area at the back. Brilliant way to serve soy sauce. No messy plastic packets. (I don't remember if HND's second buffet area in the back had a similar set-up, but they certainly had all the same foods and desserts. And drinks.

Hey, you didn't take a picture of the fried noodle offering! :p
Was it black squid ink fried noodles as well?

I did take a photo of the noodles in the serving dish, but had deleted it before uploading. Forgot to ask what it was, but it was tasty. Here is my colleague's plate.

o.O What does squid ink taste like? The idea is a bit nauseating, but who am I to judge? My favorite dish on the planet is a pig intestine stew with solidified pig blood (taiwanese cuisine). I have to go to YVR or SEA to eat it, mmm so looking forward to going there in March :)

PS Sorry if that grossed anyone out, but it doesn't taste like what it is...

Intestines are pretty good, but a .... fest to prepare (not a pun).

You guys do realize that you're having your discussion of "delicacies" right below food photos, and well.......

^I still have a case of the Red Bean Kit Kats and the Green Tea ones in my fridge right now. Purchased it from the duty-free store in HND in early July.

My colleagues commented that the green tea tasted somewhat like white chocolate.

You bought a case?

The larger boxes were about 1500 Yen at the various stores in NRT and HND. But just near the AC gate area at NRT, there is a store and there were a wide selection of single packs of many flavors for 100 Yen each. I might pick up a mix on my return there.

Here are even more flavors and comments. Blueberry fromage?

Maybe I missed this entirely, but I didn't see these in the FT store before. I remember seeing a small and a large FT luggage tag, now I see these:

Just bought a pair :) I like these much better to the ones we talked about before. ^

Only problem is that I can't see those lasting more than 2 checked baggage journeys....
