Now crossing Hudson Strait and almost over Baffin Island, lol
Well, even with streaming the photo of the new Hawksworth chicken won’t upload, perhaps when I’m at destination. Flavors were great. I don’t like those little parnesan crisps.
Meanwhike....enjoyed the cheese plate and fruit, now attempting the reappeared chocolate fondant but prefer the cherry hazelnut sauce to the blueberry ginger one on today’s AC15
Ya, FWP

The RCHHMP shall breathe a sigh of relief as no CP required!

Happy to report that there was no frozen fruit on 17 this week.
They are still serving that chicken leg swimming in BBq sauce for the pre landing lunch, which I encourage everyone to avoid at all costs.
I agree about the Blueberry sauce. Something was .. missing in the flavour.

Portions seem to have shrunk

Actually, great description provided by @gabdusch here
I found the chicken had really nice flavours, was great and was cooked perfectly but the gnocchi was mushy so I skipped that
AC806 YVR-CDG October 2018
.........
In my quest to try something different, I went with the Grilled Chicken Thigh, braised collard greens, prosciutto, baked gnocchi, crispy Parmesan crumbs. While the presentation was a little scary, the portion was substantial and quite tasty. It could have used a little less sauce.

The new Signature Cocktail was much better than the last one, although for some reason it gave me a headache.
I still miss the chocolate fondant cake. Or the butter tart that replaced it, which was actually quite good - I was disappointed that disappeared so quickly.

Does anyone remember the signature-style cocktails from 10+ years ago? Like the "Iceberg Atlantic Seabreeze"?

AC 15 YYZ-HKG November 2018
(sma)
Skipped the breads.
Appetizer was nice.
As I wrote earlier, this chicken was quite nice and tasty. Gnocchi was mushy so skipped that.
Some time later, I sensed it was mid-flight snack time.
Ah yes, checked the IFE map and indeed, close to the North Pole as usual. lol
Pilots did tell me that we were at N 8730 E 032 and approx 300 km from the North Pole.
Went to check the "cellar". Perfect!
I skipped the pre-arrival meal. Don't like the choices.
I love this.

AC 18 TPE-YVR November 2018
No menu was available on AC's website - also none for AC 8, and it was not the same as AC 16 IIRC (although AC uses China Pacific Catering ex-TPE, which Swire owns along with CX, and CX Catering in HKG of course)
I skipped the dinner and slept for 5 hours after departure. No idea what was served and didn't take a menu.
Awesome galley FA on this flight, BTW. Prior to departure, I told her and the SD that I would not be having dinner but planning to sleep. She asked if she could set aside something for later in the flight. I said if she had any fruit, cheese and crackers, that would be fine. And when I woke up, there was exactly that, set aside on a tray.
.
Breakfast was worth waking up for. LOL
Yup, Bubbles for Breakfast. Perfect.
(sma)
OUTSTANDING mini-cinnamon-raisin roll
As alway, great omelette ex-TPE and I like that there is broccoli and tomato. I asked the FA to remove the meat prior to heating.
