Deepl Discounted Fares: Saturday night requirement not necessary?

I just booked a Q class fare for a relative - it is a transborder routing to Orlando from Vancouver via Denver on UA (ie AC codeshare), and return on AC via Toronto.

The departing date is on a Sunday, and the return date is on a Friday.

The agent, who herself was surprised, stated this fare requires a Wed night stay, not a Sat night stay.

I suppose that transborder flights on AC, to compete with various US airlines, do not always require a Sat stay, for deeply discounted fares. However, I assume that all deeply discounted domestic fares, require a Sat night stay.

It depends on the city pairs.

For example, some of the low YYZ-YOW/YUL fares don't have a min stay requirement.
