Aeroplan Contact phone numbers useless

Spent hours today trying to contact aeroplan numbers in Hongkong, Tokyo, Mexico and finally UK. All not in use!. I am in Thailand and needed to change Aeroplan ticket. Hongkong "number no longer in service", Tokyo rang busy,Mexico which is advertised as 24 hours a day on the Aeroplan website, now only open less than 12 hours. and UK "number has changed" and new number bounced me to Canada, saying office is now closed!
They talk big about customer service, and can't even keep their contact information current!!

FYI - HKG can't make complicated changes, e.g. changing a Reward routing significantly. They can make simple or COS changes

When I was in Thailand I used Skype to call the NA AE hotline. You can call 1-800 numbers for free on Skype.

I am trying to make a change for a flight tomorrow. Same issue as the OP. US/Canada numbers are perpetually busy. Mexico has me on hold but I think they said earlier in the call that they are now closed.. I don't recall and am afraid to hang up . UK doesn't work.

Any tips on how to get in touch w/these guys?! Need to change an award flight for tomorrow and my desired flight just opened up.

Thanks,

Wanted to make some changes to an award ticket (class of service)... I'm an early riser to thought I would see what my options are at 5 AM

- Mexico- not 24 hours, opens at 6AM
- UK- hours are based on EST???
- Japan/HK- both closed at the time
- Got through to Germany but then they told me class of service has to go through the N. American Aeroplan office...

Oh well...
