Quote: YUL-TLV ?
I'm inclined to agree. Proper passenger mix (configuration), catering commonality, range. We'll see.

Quote: I noticed AC300 yvr-yul in August will be a 788. First time I've sen a 788 on this route. Is that new or just me?
ya, I saw it for Oct too when I was looking a couple weeks ago. It's new, I've done this route many many times on the A330 - there has never been a 787 on this route.

It shows up right as my contract in YUL ends -__-

So many times in crappy A330/767 pod or connecting through YYZ just for that 777 J seat.

I wonder how long until 777 and 788 replaces all transcon A320/21s. It'll be a beautiful day.

And a day without any 737 Maxes.

Footrest on Dreamliner 787-9 in Premium Economy
I will be flying on a 787-9 in Premium Economy and I am 4'11" and wonder if the footrests adjust not just up and down but do they slide out towards the passenger allowing reaching if you are short. thanks for any insight..... could not find the answer on any blogs, AC etc

Welcome to FT!

I doubt you will reach the foot rest at 4'11". It only pivots up or down and cannot be pulled closer to the passenger. Sorry!

A pillow placed on the foot rest may give you the added buffer that you need to make
contact.

Confirming that on my fiight next week EWR-YVR, my seats in row 13 on the 787 are NOT treated as PE by AC. Is there anything special afforded the PE section on this flight other than the seats themselves? Traveling with child, and need to know if I should feed him prior....

No it's BoB. It should say when you bought the ticket food available for purchase, or "Air Canada Caf"

Unless you bought latitude. Which is still the same food but certain items are free.

Always bring extra food when travelling with a child. Always.

No doubt. If I were on UA I'd know exactly what to (not) expect, but wasn't sure on a cross country INTL flight on AC what the offerings may be in the unofficial PE section...

In comparison to united you should expect a Buy-On-Board that has food closer to "real food". Here is the menu:
https://www.aircanada.com/content/da..._cafe_menu.pdf

A couple of items to point out:
- If you are booked in latitude you get a credit for the buy-on-board. Shows up at LT07 on your boarding pass.
- The meal trays are the best option for buy-on-board. They load a couple of extra meals on the aircraft for the Business class cabin and sell any meals not selected in business class in economy. (page 5 of the menu)

Screens for first row of PE in 787?
About to fly YVR-YYZ tomorrow on AC's 788.

We are row 12, first row of PE. I've never been in the first row of PE...and am wondering where the screens are! I see there is one fixed screen on bulkhead, presumably reserved for safety information, etc.

Are screens for ICE in the armrests of the first row of PE? Thanks in advance for your info!!!
