AC 854 on July 20th?
I have a friend who is an Elite who is flying AC 854, YVR -> LHR tomorrow (July 20th).

Can anyone tell me how her upgrade chances look?

i see 10 open seats on AC.com, however that is also dependent on:

(1) number of J pax without a seat assigned
(2) number of super elite, elite and prestige waitlisted for upgrades

Flight is showing J5, so depending on the number of SE ahead the upgrade might clear at the gate.

Thanks everyone.

Just to follow up - Her upgrade didn't clear, so she was at the back of the bus.

She's Canadian, based in the UK, and flies regularly to Vancouver, hence AC Elite. She also used to fly BMI.

Since BMI's left the alliance and she's never once successfully upgraded on AC, she's made the decision to switch to BA to see if she does any better there.

Should be an interesting comparison.
