Data Valet, the next devaluation?

I get the following now while logging in on datavalet

Thank You for Using Datavalet
As a valued Air Canada customer, we are pleased to offer you an upgraded level of WiFi Bandwidth speed to meet your Internet needs.

With the Silver service, you can enjoy a high bandwidth experience for all your browsing, e-mailing, and social media needs.

To continue surfing, please click on the "Surf the Internet" button.
First time it happened in YHZ I thought it was a fluke; repeated today at YWG.

The next devaluation or just another IT fail?

Data Valet, the next devaluation?

I think I saw this at YYC last fall. Non-status gets a basic speed, and status gets a faster speed.

OP is SE. He should be receiving 'Gold'. You should report this to AC.

Gold - SE/E
Silver - J pax and MLL members
Bronze - *Gold and guests

You'd think this is something they could give to Ps too.

I like this part:

Bronze* for Star Alliance Gold cardholders traveling in Economy Class and guests from other partner airlines.
Regular bandwidth speeds for web browsing and e-mails.

*Bronze Level Bandwidth can be upgraded to Silver for $3.99CAD for a 24-hour period.

Was in YYZ yesterday, Gold level Wifi was noticeably faster then last time before this change

Most in Canada, but it has 2 hour window, very erratic, and worthless when airport is very busy

One of the changes coming with A3 status instead of AC....
Was in YYZ yesterday, Gold level Wifi was noticeably faster then last time before this change....

Edit:I remember that I have the picture of Lisa Raitt's AP number to always have holds access!

I end up connecting to the free Boingo wifi at YYZ because Datavalet is so lame to begin with.

No! No!! it's Datavalet in YEG-- I was worried the grass will grow faster than Datavalet downloads yesterday. Finally an enhancement before the end of the year.
