Data Valet, the next devaluation?
I get the following now while logging in on datavalet

Data Valet, the next devaluation?
I think I saw this at YYC last fall. Non-status gets a basic speed, and status gets a faster speed.

OP is SE. He should be receiving 'Gold'. You should report this to AC.

Bronze* for Star Alliance Gold cardholders traveling in Economy Class and guests from other partner airlines. Regular bandwidth speeds for web browsing and e-mails. *Bronze Level Bandwidth can be upgraded to Silver for $3.99CAD for a 24-hour period. Was in YYZ yesterday, Gold level Wifi was noticeably faster then last time before this change |

I end up connecting to the free Boingo wifi at YYZ because Datavalet is so lame to begin with.
