AC Listens - May 2nd Survey

Has anyone else gone through the latest AC Listens survey?

I'm trying to complete it, but I really don't like the answers provided on one of the questions...

Which side do you feel has acted in a more fair and reasonable manner during this contract dispute?
- The unions
- Air Canada
No choice for "Other" or "None of the Above"?

I received and completed. Very much trying to gauge public opinion and who holds more support. Unfortunate that there's no middle option presented, but it does force you to pick a side. Canadians often won't.

Mine crashed on me after spending about 10minutes on it. I did not waste my time a second time.

In the "Which side do you feel has acted in a more fair and reasonable manner during this contract dispute?" , there is only one obvious answer

Agreed. A loaded and unfair question. I tried to select both, then penalized AC for issuing such a survey by selecting against AC.

The best part is where you get to tell them that you've already booked flights on other airlines thanks to their labour disruptions. Does it really matter whether I support AC management or unions once I start booking WS instead?

Which of the following best decribes your response to the contract dispute at Air Canada?
  • I don’t fly with Air Canada so it will not impact me directly
  • I will continue to book and fly on Air Canada despite the dispute
  • In the short-term I will definitely consider airlines other than Air Canada
  • I will postpone booking on Air Canada until I feel this dispute is behind them
  • I have already booked a flight on an airline other than Air Canada because of the dispute
  • I will never book with Air Canada again because of this dispute
  • Don’t know/No opinion
they really need spell check...

So, I took this survey. I replied to a question that my impression of AC has deteriorated over the past year. They asked me why (and wanted me to be specific), so I gave the following reasons.

Management policies:
  • Baggage fees, especially on transborder
  • Price spread (and increasing) between Tango and Tango Plus fares
  • Reduction of minimum status miles for non-status pax to 250/segment
  • Lack of system wide free standby for Tango Plus fares similar to what is offered on Rapidair routes
  • Fuel surcharges on aeroplan tickets
  • Codeshare flights - mileage earning not based on marketing carrier, can potentially earn 0 miles. No status miles for T+, Lat tickets on domestic flights operated by CMA, etc. or int'l flights operated by Jet, etc.

Non-management:
  • Union issues, labour distruptions, etc.

There were numerous other things I mentioned too.

I only mentioned two: loss of IKK and R games.
The otehrs don't realy impact me ( no luggage charge, still 500 min,
never EVER book code shares...)

Easiest 50 AP ever...

I HATE these surveys so for this one I selected the "None" option and it only took about 45 seconds to complete

thought it was only a draw for a $100 CAD prize... there's AP points?

Oops! Wrong survey...the one I was thinking of was a AP Adviser survey. My mistake.
