Question about eupgrades
With all this eUpgrade credit victories, I am left with one question:
If I'm flying 2/25 to GVA and return 3/4, if someone nominates me on 2/22 for eUpgrade, can I also get the upgrade for the return flight our outbound only?
If possible, I return from GVA>YUL on 3/4...:-D

However, if the nominee is simply looking to use up eUpgrade credits expiring 29 Feb 2012, then you cannot get upgraded for the return flight.
As acysb87 states, you would need to be added to the nominee list for 2012-2013, and use credits from the new year for the return flight.

Looking for assistance
Not wanting to take chances or play the 'R' games, I'm trying to book a trip in September to Rome. I want to try and upgrade at time of booking.
-On the site, I enter trip for 2 people, desired dates
-Search results come back for departure, select button for flights available for upgrade
-A blue box is beside deired flight, available for upgrade - Question-Does this mean it's available for '2' passengers?
-A grey box, means waitlist, not desired.
-So assuming blue box means available, Question - can I call Elite reservation and do booking with the agent to ensure immediate upgrade, or do I have to book trip first, then log into my eupgrades to secure?
I'm flexable with my dates, but would like to secure.
Appreciate your help.

Thx for the fast response. Yes. It was a Latitude fare. I just want to be sure the blue box means available for 2 passengers as I put in my flight search. Can I call the elite reservations to book and secure or book first and upgrade thru my bookings? Many thx.

P.S. Latitude fares are fully cancellable, so there is no risk in trying to book it. Actually all fares are fully cancellable within 24 hrs of booking.

Yes, if you make the booking for 2 people and the blue box is still there, that means there are at least 2 upgrade spots. Many of us use this method to determinine how many upgrade spots there are, i.e. increase the # of people by one, and repeat a number of times to determine at which point the box goes gray.
