Flying east from IPC

Hi, I've got a o/w award ticket to IPC on LAN. Now I need to get off Easter Island and my destination is Sydney. I'd be happy to stop at other islands on the way or go on more directly. I'd like to avoid flying back to Chile and then go on to SYD because it will be many extra hours of flying backtracking. Do you know of other airlines that stop in IPC or have any advice? Thanks in advance.

Wiki knows all, PPT is your only eastward option.

And definitely not on AC or any other Star Alliance carrier, so I would suggest to move this thread to the Oneworld world.

Having researched this previously for departures from South America (but not having travelled), I am pretty sure that only LAN services this airport from Santiago and an occasional seasonal flight from Lima. Unknown if there are local charters that serve Easter Island. Maybe better luck in the LAN forum...

Should be a nice visit, the Moai are great at sunset I hear.

LAN has weekly flights from IPC to PPT. From there, you can conenct to SYD.

But how did this thread end up on the Aeroplan forum?

If you insist on flying eastbound, you must go to SCL.
However if you want to go west young man.....then PPT is your best/only choice.

Only 12,500 in Y one way. Double for biz. Not too shabby at all.

Yeah, that is what I thought...
but searching Feb-Mar-April for one-way Y or J,
not a single seat showed up.
So maybe a little shabby...
