Meals on AC flights from Narita

I have to fly through Narita next week, flying ICN-NRT-YYZ. Should I be concerned about the food being served or am I being totally ridiculous. I was thinking I could just pick up some food in Incheon and bring it with me.

If it appears that the meal being served is glowing I would pass on it!

I would concur with the latter of your two options....

that said, I re-routed all my NRT flights until the end of April via HKG and PEK

Doesn't AC fly direct from ICN to YYZ? AC064. Current booking policy of AC is to rebook no charge. That avoids the paranoia

But will his upgrade clear?

Wouldn't a true road warrior rather glow in the dark?

AC no longer has a direct ICN-YYZ, AC 64 is a ICN-YVR-YYZ on a 763. There used to be a 77W service to ICN from YYZ but it has been discontinued.

While AC64 is not a non-stop, it is a direct.

Which means only one thing: you only get Aeroplan miles based upon the direct distance. Otherwise, it's just like a connection at YVR.

Still, if the OP is afraid of glowing in the dark, switching from an NRT connection to a YVR stopover is a feasible change.

Perhaps Andrew could weigh in? I think this is a valid concern.

There should be no concerns with any of our onboard products out of Narita. Our Corporate Safety team has followed up on this and confirmed that none of the affected food items are being used to prepare any of our onboard meals. While on this topic, the crew change in KIX has also been eliminated as our medical team has determined that it's now safe for our crew to layover in NRT so flights are back to regular scheduled departure/arrival times.

For AC002 NRTYYZ - Dinner after take off and then breakfast before landing. Wide ranges of hot/cold mid flight snacks items between meals.
