I try to fix people, and also do not fly to work but work only to fly - and hike around the world ^
82 000 status miles in 2010 purely for pleasure - this year will be spent traveling on reward tickets (AKL in J in 10 days!) in protest and I'll be lucky to make P!

25, CA working at a firm doing business turnaround. All travel is within BC, although I would like to work internationally and earn back status.
It's good to know that there are other CA's out there who fly, I was getting worried my designation was all for nothing , at least as far as travel goes.

Its simple really. I suffer from multiple personality disorder!
At School: Academic Slave (Graduate Student)
At Work: Professional Slave and $hit $hielder for my team
At Home: Slave to the other half
At any point I try to figure out who is more unhappy and try to shift focus towards making that person/organization a little less unhappy
It doesnt help that school and work/other half are on different continents

Fixed wing. Pilot. Although I used to spend a lot of time in rotary-wings (as crew). I probably fly as many miles as anybody on this forum, but almost all are non-status of course

Pretty much what I do. Except that occasionally I get sent into combat zones. (hence my comment in other threads about flying with body armour... royal pain in the arse, trust me).
